The which if you with patient ears attend...

Yes, we're doing Romeo and Juliet in English just now and I've been dishing out quotes like some Shakespearean renaissance campaign girl.
We watched the Baz Luhrmann movie in class the other day and I'm in LOVE with Leo DiCaprio and Claire Danes in equal measure. And I pure wish biting your thumb at people was like a proper insult. It's got so much more to it than just lifting a random finger up to someone. Am I right?
AAAAANYWAYS, hi.
I'm Niamh and I've decided to start a blog, 21st century girl and all that.
So where to start?
Well, I'm 15, I live in a small town near the seaside in Scotland (and before you ask: yes, it's always bloody freezing).
I live with my mum, our dog Pepper and my rabbit, whom I very inventively named Bunny, though he's also been known to answer to BunBun, Carrots McGhee and Lord Rabbitson of Bunningsworth - basically, if you have some food about your person, he's your best pal, otherwise he doesn't want to know.
I also have a big sister called Nora who's at uni in Edinburgh.
I'm fourth year in school and it's about as rubbish as you can imagine but my pals make it just about tolerable. I've got four best friends and they mean the world to me, even if they can all be a bit dim at times.
Like the other day, we had a free period before double maths (sidenote: whoever decided making teenagers sit through two hours of maths needs their head tested) and we just sat in Mrs Winters' empty room and Robyn (my uber bff) decided we should have an impromptu karaoke session so we started belting out Torn by Natalie Imbruglia. It was fucking hilarious watching each other murmur through the words we didn't know and yell out the ones we did - that was until grumpy gits Mr Kelly walked in and ruined the fun. I swear he's got some sort of weird vendetta against us.
Anywhos, I need to go now because mum needs to use the phone.
Until next time...!
